    Honestly, I think Nat is pulling your legs. Someone who can play and sing so beautifully as he does on Lifted could not layer that atrocious modern wankery on top of it and keep a straight face. Unless he's incredibly desperate for artsy backslaps.

    Not sure about this. Lifted is a brilliant song and then it is ruined by some noise. He should not have don this. Is there another version without? I would love to hear his music without all that extra's. Why ruining something brilliant.

    The new album sound pretty rough around the edges, he could do with putting some more effort into production. I also still prefer the split version of Lifted, the little bursts of free jazz on the new version sound awful, as do every other bit of aimless experimentation in his material. I think I half-love, half-hate his style.
