    Momus is the blasphemous alter-ego to Leonard Cohen, but possibly the closest to his extraordinarily spiritual lyrical skills. But Momus goes where Cohen would never go, with songs about the making of a homosexual, songs about the random lecherous cruelty of God (Tender Pervert), and very comic songs about Maoist revolutionaries. Not many people know him, but if you like dark and twisted lyrics, a combination of Randy Newman and Leonard Cohen, Momus is your man.
