I have always loved this album but never quite found anything quite as creative and memorable as it (sure Radiohead - but in a different way). Any recommendations for an album really like this one? And not just one of those "if you like this you'll like Sleeper or Menswear or Dodgy..." garbage! ;-)

Ive had this album for a number of years and Ive only just realised that Richard Hawley was the guitarist in them. Id always thought Hawley was just a Pulp drop out.

one of a very few albums where nearly all the tracks are brilliant, up there with Stereophonics & Turin Breaks

I'd say better than RadioHead at it's best....so much less played out for one thing. Includes about 6 (about half) absolute classic songs. This should appeal to anyone who likes smart melodic and expertly played rock and roll. One of those desert island disks I don't want to be without. Truly!
