I Leaves’ Eyes sono una gothic metal band formata da Liv Kristine Espenaes (ex-cantante dei Theatre of Tragedy e dai musicisti degli Atrocity (Tra cui il vocalist Alexander Krull, marito di Liv). La band ha pubblicato due singoli (“Into Your Light”, “Elegy”), un EP (“Legend Land”) e due full-lenght album: “Lovelorn” nel 2004 e “Vinland Saga” nel 2005.

Lovelorn is really special album. I can see why a lot of people would consider it their favorite. I admit that I do find it a bit surprising that it always leads in plays by such a large margin though.

"A lot of people don't like his voice, but I do :) The Dream was my first experience of B&B vocals." THE DREAM ..... man, it works great there! It's funny, because it's the kind of song I wouldn't have expected growled vocals to work well on AT ALL, but it fits perfectly.

He's one of the few growlers that I think are alright, though I wouldn't want any more from him than they have in their music now. LE has a good balance between both vocalists imo.
