Leadbelly , nome d’arte di Huddie William Ledbetter (Moorningsport, 23 gennaio 1885 – New York, 6 dicembre 1949) è stato un cantante e chitarrista statunitense.
Fu uno dei più importanti esponenti della musica blues.
Appartenente alla tradizione del delta blues ma anche alla tradizione afroamericana, i suoi brani sono stati reinterpretati da innumerevoli artisti e la sua fusione di generi stilistici ed esecutivi è stata particolarmente originale.
