    I remember an acquaintance from college heaping an embarrassing amount of praise on me for introducing him to great music 20 years ago. When I eventually heard he meant Joni, I suddenly thought, no your praise is justified :) I would thank the person who introduced me to Joni too, if I knew who they were :)

    This song is REALLY one of my all time favs...I like how Graham Nash described Joni when she wrote this one. He said she was taken over by the music. She got so wrapped up completely in the melody that her presence actually LEFT the room and he couldn't reach her. They were in the same room together, and she was literally gone...taken over by what she created...
