After railing against schlagerstar Helene Fischer only a week ago and admitting to riding on the trains in Hamburg without buying a ticket (I seriously don't see the point of that, much less the point in bragging about it), this time Jan Delay went too far when he accused schlager singer Heino of being a Nazi.
Why? Because of Schwarzbraun ist die Haselnuss? A song that existed before WW1, let alone WW2? And what about Otto Waalkes? It's ok when he does it? The Golden Gate Quartet did a cover of that song, for goodness sake!
Or the other reason that he gave, that Heino played in South Africa during the Apartheid era... but so did Queen! Black Sabbath! So many others! Are they all Nazis too? No! Of course not!
But, on the other hand, Heino can't act entirely shocked by the accusation. It was not that long ago that he quoted part of one of Hitler's speeches. Oops!
