God I love this album so much, this song especially. It's a shame this is the only one they ever made.

comment to the one below mine...i hear ya, dude....i think it is because we have been "conditioned" to like what is considered to be "hard and heavy" (ex: led zeppelin, the who, etc.)....while i do appreciate and admire these bands, enuf is enuf, ya know????

it has taken me along time to accept the fact that many or most people just don't like music like this(power pop or perfect pop). Bands like Jellyfish, Imperial Drag, Matthew Sweet, even ELO are just not enjoyed. I don't know if its a cultural thing or perhaps a matter of sensory input. Maybe it jangles peoples cords in ways that is opposite the joy i feel at the sonic arrangement. I don't know but it saddens me. Some of the very best music is often dismissed as corny or dated. When I listen to these bands I feel joy, wonder, love and excitement but friends of mine just look at me like this music totally sucks. Of course all things are a matter of taste, but it amazes me that something I fees must surely be palatable to most everyone is disdained instead. Oh, well. it feels good to know I'm not completely alone out here. I'll just keep on listening and hope it works its magic eventually on more people.
