    @Pho3nix Is that they don't want to or is it that those that have tried were taken out of the equation? Many that don't live in their bubbles become targets.

    People want to live in their little bubbles so they can dedicate their lives in pursuit of material happiness and other assorted shallow activities, they can't wake up because it would challenge their entire belief and value system, which would help them realize how hollow and lost they really are. So I guess you could say, that it has to do with wanting to live in an illusion as opposed to seeing life (and people) without rose-tinted glasses.
