Originari di Londra, gli Hot Chip sono un quintetto capeggiato dai due vocalist Alexis Taylor e Joe Goddard, entrambi autori delle canzoni del gruppo. Gli altri componenti della band sono Al Doyle, Owen Clarke e Felix Martin. La loro musica è una combinazione di suoni funk, pop ed elettronici. All’attivo hanno tre album: Coming On Strong (2004), The Warning (2006) e Made In The Dark (2008) oltre a vari fortunati singoli tra cui Boy From School e Over And Over, dai quali sono nati diversi fortunati remix.
