Well hello everyone, thank you for taking the time to read my Top 50 of 2010. I did this last year, So I thought I would do it again this year... And its even more important this year, as after I finish writing this I am going to refresh my last fm scrobble counter! So at 86356 plays and nears 2 and a half years on here, why did i decide to refresh my scobbles? Well because I feel my music taste has changed drastically in the the last 2 years, and also because I will admit this, I think that the number 86356 is a bit exaggerated. Sometimes I left my PC on to scrobble, when I wasn't really listening, And I wanted to make a true account of what I actually listen to, which means wiping the slate clean I think... So on that note... Here is my top 50 of 2010:-

5. Kat DeLuna - Spanish. She's predominantly English-speaking, obviously, but for some reason, I just find that the Spanish versions of her songs sound better lyrically. Her Run the Show Spanish version is definitely my favorite track from her.

4. Sheryfa Luna - French. Another Luna, but definitely not related to the previous one, she was last year's winter soundtrack for me. I fell madly in love with her Quelque part for the lyrics- but that might just be me. For those who can't speak French and can't appreciate the lyrics as much, Aime Moi is catchy, and Ce Qu'Ils Aiment is second only to Quelque Part in my books.She's definitely not the most talented artist out there, being a Star Academy competitor (think Idol but with sexy French accents), but she's definitely worth a few listens.

3. Hadise - Turkish. Some of her supposedly more popular songs I can't help but despise- Stir Me Up, for example, makes my ears bleed. However, other songs get caught on repeat, like Düm Tek Tek, or Aşkkolik. …

The Annual Kenny Awards were held a little late then usual - in Tuesday, 12th of January, 2010. Total of 22 awards in music, television and movies were awarded. In music, most nominations had Lady Gaga (10), then Alcazar (7) and Beyonce (5). Britney Spears, Hadise and Sugababes each had 4 nominations. Also, 2 internal awards were given, which are not meant for public.
