  I once named a pet mouse after Jed the Humanoid and guess what? The same thing happened... I gradually got bored of him and about a year later he was smacked off his tits going round in his wheel shouting 'fuck off!' He developed a fatal tumour soon after and I had to have him put down. I have the receipt framed in his memory to this day. R.I.P Jed. I put the 50p change from the rodent euthanasia on a dog in the bookies across the road and got my tenner back. So... there is a silver lining to every bad story.
