Misery-machine is right, other than that I cba discussing genres. Like it, listen to it, don't like it, don't listen to it. Why do people feel the need to make it more complicated than that?

Nowt wrong with hip-hop. There was similar outrage when Run DMC did "Walk This Way" with Aerosmith. Hip-hop, rap etc. has been crossing paths with rock and alternative music ever since. Going off on a related tangent here, it amuses me when a certain section of goths pour derision on rock or metal - where did they think goth comes from? It came from Punk! Steampunk is not revolutionary - it's a post-modern rehash of Victoriana. In the 90's we had cyberpunk - stuff influenced by Blade Runner etc. It stands to reason that artists will be looking backwards in time for inspiration. Stop being so bloody pretentious and narrow minded! FFS! (LOL :)

lol at the person who thinks "hip hop" is an insulting thing to tag a song with, there's heavy hip hop influence in Dr. Steel's music, and it's awesome

I litteraly just read a story about the Fibonacci sequence when this song played. Fucking coincidence. Quite an interesting take on avant-garde, though.
