I was never into music in a big way until a few years ago when my health went downhill and i had to take an extended break from work and study....so i needed a hobby of sorts, something to pass the time and to stop me from going insane with boredom and music was that something. Over the last few years i have listened to more music than i care to imagine, getting into all different styles that i never thought i would get any enjoyment from and compiling a playlist which i dare say will be played daily on album shuffle for the rest of my days. Changes will probably be made as albums i once like become something i dislike and so forth so this list will probably change over time. List is in alphabetical order:

Another year has passed, so, for the second time ever, I decided to put everything together.

This year my taste of music represents a bit of hip-hop, acoustic, rock, indie, soul, alternative, singer-songwriter, jazz, funk, electronic, chill, surf, blues, neo-soul, folk, underground hip-hop, indie rock, instrumental hip-hop, chillout, instrumental, trip-hop, alternative rock, pop, reggae, beats, swing, indie pop and jazz hop.

From February till July I enjoyed my time living in the beautiful city of Utrecht, The Netherlands, where I was an ERASMUS exchange student at the Utrecht University. Since I lived in a huge flat for five months with 11 awesome people from all over the world, this year my charts doesn't reflect the music I was actually into.

I was listening to lots of classic rock, like Led Zeppelin or The Beatles, together with Martin, Samuli, Dori and others we even did a jam session, and, of course, we were jumping to tracks like Hello and Like A G6 while attending Club Poema or Tivoli. …

The idea is for a journal for every month listing new albums I listen to and what I think so that when I review the year's music in December, I will have a handy reminder.

I will add to this as the month goes on. Suggestions welcome.

The Bay Area dance trio and festival favorite looks to break out with this debut album. (Spinner) Glitch, sort of. The future sound of dance? Really like this. Makes no sense, can't describe it, all I can say is it sounds extremely cool, and so good it sounds great turned low as well as it should be - up. Production and ideas remind me a lot of Yeasayer.
