I Does It Offend You, Yeah? vengono da Reading in Inghilterra e sono: Morgan Quaintance (voce, synths e chitarra), James Rushent (basso e voce), Dan Coop (synths) e Rob Bloomfield (batteria). In passato si erano fatti conoscere per alcuni remix di pezzi dei Muse e dei Bloc Party.
Dan Coop ha anche rivelato come è nato lo strano nome del gruppo: “Mentre io e James Rushent abbiamo iniziato a scrivere la nostra prima canzone, abbiamo deciso di metterla su MySpace. Cercavamo un nome per il nostro profilo, così prendemmo la prima cosa che sentimmo in televisione (in quel momento c’era “The Office”, serie TV famosa in Inghilterra) e David Brent (uno dei personaggi della serie interpretato da Ricky Gervais) disse ‘Does it offend you, yeah? My drinking?’”
