Releases from 2008 that I actually liked and listen to...
One Day as a Lion
In my opinion the best release of 2008, and just a damn good record, period. This brief number really brings Zack back into his element with a new twist on a familiar style. His lyrics are as thought-provoking as ever and his flow is BETTER than ever. VERY much looking forward to the upcoming LP!

Giu 27 2006, 16:27 di -Asi-Yes, we´re talking about Death´s great album.
Already the title contains so much power, and the music is even more powerful. It keeps what the title promises you.
I prefer listening to it when i´m angry or when i have to vent on some aggressions (practising catharsis, you know :>) or if i´m doing some sports, jogging or stuff.
The technical level is quite high, and i love the drum work, maybe even more than the guitar work. wait, i love every part. It´s not the usual Death Metal sound I know, it sounds more progressive and "grown up".
my favourite song on the album is Flesh and the Power It Holds, but there all great, though.
The only thing is that i had to listen to it a few times until i got into it, but we all know that. I bought Scream Bloody Gore at first, because i´ve heard Zombie Ritual and fell in love with it, but i didn´t like it so much. It was quite similar with this, i heard Spirit Crusher and fell also in love with it. now it´s one of my favourite metal albums.
