I love how he ends his album. Instead of going the typical route of closing an album with a track that goes straight for transcendent grandeur and tries too hard to make a powerful, lasting impression, Sprinkles gives us a record that's just simply pleasant and kind of leaves you with an assured and content "heh" on your lips. I took the album to be a bitter and somewhat sorrowful story - something that acknowledges the more emotional and less flashy side of the music. The closing track to me is a kind of a "life may not have been too kind and still things are still far from perfect, but now I feel okay, and it's kind of nice" track. 5/5 for Thaemlitz's closer. No fluff, just straight genuine music. love from nyc, stephen
