So the last entry saw electric disco ditties from the likes of Heartbreak, Hercules and Love Affair and The Long Blondes; acoustic loveliness from Calexico, Vampire Weekend and The Dø; and Scarlett Johansson attaining the highest position on my chart than any other Hollywood starlet this year (though it must be said I await with baited breath for Lindsay Lohan's third album!) But there's more and, in my opinion, better music to come... first up being positions 40-31, as detailed here:

40. Angles
To credit Dan Le Sac and Scroobius Pip, not only do they not look like your typical DJ/MC duo, they also happen to not sound like one either. Many laughed them off as a one-hit gimmick after their impassioned mickey-take single Thou Shalt Always Kill charted in the Top 40 at the tail-end of last year; but lo and behold, they follow it up with an album laden with enough social commentary and earnest humor to, at the very least, be taken semi-seriously. …
