History:
Formed in the summer of 2005 by Dylan Ruskin after parting from his main band Burn at the Stake, BRAIN DRILL was originally meant to be a side project. Dylan began looking for drummers that could actually play death metal, and not just claim they could. Enter Marco Pitruzella former drummer of Vital Remains, Vile, Atrocious Hysteria, and a few other extreme metal bands. After a few months of jamming Steve Rathjen was then later put onto vocals. BRAIN DRILL entered Castle Ultimate Studios with producer Zack Ohren on March 1st 2006 to release their first 6 song demo. All 6 of the drum tracks were done the day before recording in one take by Marco. There was no editing and none of the drum tracks were done over.
