    Actually, according to Ben Folds, the only track they ever recorded "live" in the studio was "Brick." Pretty odd, given that Brick was also their biggest hit.

    coregamer -- the track was recorded live in the studio, not mixed -- all 3 musicians kicking its ass at once. so at the end ben says "that's pretty good, try it again". obviously, they picked this track to run and left the comment at the end. the entire album was done that way, and you can hear them talking between takes. no one records like this anymore. gives a live performance feel. much better than what ben is doing these days, which sounds like he just plopped a bunch of mp3s on a computer and said "mix this" to an engineer, and walked away.
