thnx rionka, i got to saw him last week and he was super cool! the looping of the beats and piano rocked. he had some weird walky talkie things which kept falling over which was funny but added to his qtness.
aus rox : )
anecdotal: besides of the laptop, he used some keyboards and also some kind of percussion synthesizer. He usually performed a little piece of rhythm or music in the beginning of the song and then put that piece on a loop with slight changes once in a while, adding another elements, or noise, breaks and stuff. It was actually very interesting to sit on the floor and stare at him as he played with the sound, he looked very shy on that little stage there but he was sweet. rionka what does he do live? i am not familiar with how one performs electronic stuff live.
i love how his work does not seem to try and connote too definite a feeling-to me it doesn't anyway. it is not really happyhappy nor sadsad
