that p4 review was one of the most horrible reviews i've ever read. we get it that you hate them, but at least supply some valid reasons for it. anyway, pretty decent album :]

Pitchfork can fuck right off. This is one of the best albums ever made. That review should count as a journalistic crime.

Hmz, I'm more ambivalent. These guys are great musicians and this music is full of whimsy, environmental soundeffects and creative ideas. So much that it drowns the _-album-_ This is a collage of sounds, as many sounds as the artists could possibly have crammed on the disk. Less is more and more is less, I hope the next album will be more back to basic: less 'clean'. Focus on more catchy hooks, dare to cut it down a bit, stop trying to impress me and impress me...

Canopy Glow Review. "Anathallo’s jubilant harmonies have coalesced and matured; the vocals are stronger and more self-assured, and the melodies are finally anchored to concise, palatable song structures. In short, the band has achieved a success that Floating World only hinted at and—(pats band on the back) embarrassing lyrics aside—produced a much stronger album." http://www.patrolmag.com/music/1063/anathallo-canopy-glow

Yeah, Pitchfork really does hate them! In fact, the review was basically saying that they are similar to Sufjan Stevens. I definitely prefer this to any of Sufjan's work though.
