ALGOL is a melody-oriented deathmetal band, born in 2001.
2004: “THROUGH TIME AND SPACE” DEMO.
2007: “THE WISDOM LOST” MCD.
Due 2009: “COMPLEX SHAPES” CD.
The band showcases an evolving and unique style, very riff-oriented with frequent beat changing, a particular attention to seamless passages from one riff to another, and the love for breaking the melody with some direct, almost old style riffing.
New 2008 material is now ready for a full lenght release, which will sport artwork by the great illustrator Travis Smith.
