Tony Wilson... If you like I recommend you to see '24 Hour Party People' and 'Control' movies. First is the Factory's story from Joy Division to Happy Mondays. Control is the life of Ian Curtis. :) I love both! I hope you like.

neither did I, but i got massively interested in the whole thing when I found out. Always loved JD/New Order, but there's a whole bunch of good bands from that time

I never really found out about Tony Wilson and the Factory story until after he had died, and I found his story and life fascinating. He's one of my biggest inspirations, and I'm upset I never got to meet him. I'll be going down to Manchester for In The City this year, it's a shame that he won't be there anymore. R.I.P. Tony. My hero. :)
