    Favourite Chilis Song

    I was just wondering what everyone's favourite Red Hot Chili Peppers song is. I personally find it hard to choose, I could list around 10 songs right now which I would consider my favourite. But, if I had to pick just one it would most likely have to be Soul to Squeeze...or By the Way, meh. Too hard to select just one.

    My Dad's favourite is Cabron, which is an awesome song too. What's yours?

    Hmmm favourite chili song now that is hard. the song I am listening to at the moment the mos would be the zephyr song, but favourite thats just to hard to pick Californication is a very good song along with blood suger sex magik...I could go on for ever listing my favourite chili songs.

    - aeroplane
    - nobody weird like me
    - scar tissue
    - otherside
    - my friends
    - soul to squeeze
    - under the bridge

  • puh, yeah its pretty hard to pick one favourite song of the peppers, I really like Scar Tissue, My Friends, Tearjerker, Rolling Sly Stone, If you want me to stay, taste the pain and under the bridge (I could go on, but I think I better stop here :)) In general I like the older songs more, but some of the new songs are really really good as well and even the solo album of john frusicante is just great!

  • I have to say my fave song is Aeroplane. Which is weird because i like Frusciante's style alot more than Navarro's. But the slap bass line has to be one of the sickest sounding. Now if we were going for favorite album i'd have to say Blood Sugar Sex Magik, its AMAZIng.

  • How to choose...? I don't know if I could pick just one song to name as my favorite song by them. Having said that, there are usually some that I like more than others, though it usually differs from time to time.

    At the moment, I'd have to say that "Aeroplane" is my favorite, mostly because I learned how to play it on bass and have so much fun playing it. Such a great song...

    Other than that, "Don't Forget Me" is a big one. I really connect to that song, so it kind of stands to reason that I'd really like it.

    Umm... that's a hard question you got there. It's really hard to say just one... The three best albums are One Hot Minute, Blood Sugar Sex Magik and Californication so the best songs are definitely on those records. And to name some songs, I would have to say My Friends, Naked In The Rain, The Greeting Song, Otherside and Around The World.

    How can you ruin a perfectly good fire by making smoke?

  • I've been listening to their older material lately. Magic Johnson, Funky Crime, Fight Like a Brave, Get Up and Jump, Knock Me Down, Millionaires Against Hunger, the list goes on.. Brilliant, funkay tracks :D

    Mother's Milk - Nobody Wierd Like Me
    Blood Sugar - great album probably i could have lied though all the songs are great
    One Hot Minute - best album god uhh my friends, coffee shop, walkabout, tearjerker and transcending
    Californication - road trippin
    By The Way - This is the place, i could die for you, minor thing, throw away your television.

  • How could you not have "The Righteous and the Wicked" from BSSM in this list? That is my probably my favorite song from them. I also love "Easily" from Californication
