    got the new album in the mail today... it totally surprised me, i wasn't expecting it til next week. i've been listening to it for about 5 hours now, and i'm pretty sure there will be a few songs that will stick around after the new wears off. I wanna think i took up to it quicker than the last one, but its probably about the same.

    They played right fuckin here on Sunday, except I was at a wedding in Massachusetts then, so now I need to go down to NYC to see them, but thats OK b/c my brother lives there Saw them about twelve years ago and cant wait to hear what has changed...!!!

    yeah, i was a little disappointed with insert as well. plus, I was hoping for some Curt artwork with my free stuff bundle. I wonder what the poster will be of?

    love the new cd. you can hear volcano and curts solo stuff in it, for sure. the first half is a slow paced, country tinged (but very puppets) bit of beauty, made to prepare your face for the rocking off it will receive in the second half. i was a little disappointed by the light booklet. ah well, doesn't hurt the cd.

    I think the japanese guys over on the Volcano last.fm page hate Curt and the guys for using the Volcano name, they seem to rail on and on about that frequently there. I tried to represent and tell them that it's okay.

    The album is much more subdued than I'd have ever expected. I don't think the songs are as great for it as Snow or the Volcano record, or Golden Lies, but its still decent.
