  so much negative comments about Downpour, as realized from the trailer that not good game at all.. so i rest my cases for Silent Hill 1-3 games. best parts of entire series, and The Room was lame to me.. the idea for the game is awesome but so many missing parts missing from the game.

  hmmm... I would say beginning of the end of silent hill was 1-3 i didn´t like the room so much, idea was ok but not enought to my taste. Homecoming´s only good part was scarlet that giant bloody doll demon. Scarlet is manifestation of Doctor Martin Fitch's guilt over murdering his daughter Scarlet Fitch(same name as boss have because it´s kinda same person), who was dismembered and sacrificed to appease God. downpour wasn´t good at all, but the extra ending with cake and pyramid head was damn magnificent. It made me give some plus to game, i got also pretty good fit of laughter so i´ll live longer now thanks for pyramid head and of course to cake.

  I really don't like to compare different artists, because each and every one of them has to be unique, but it's so hard not to when it comes to Silent Hill. Daniel surely did a good job, but didn't succeed to bring the true atmosphere of Silent Hill, while Akira could pull it off even at latest SH titles which are considered lesser ones. My opinion will always be that only Yamaoka can do it.

  Licht sounds like Korn, his job is not bad but it doesn`t have this atmosphere which Yamaoka`s job has - that`s my opinion.

  And the J. Davis song is not that bad.Think of it as the rock tracks of the previous games.It only plays during the 'trailer' if you don't press start on the menu screen and during the end credits.Sorry for double post

  It's not so much that there's a song by the asshole from Korn in the game, it's that sticking a fucking nu-metal song in it is symbolic of how Konami has no fucking idea what to do with Silent Hill. SH2 seems like such a long time ago...

  There's one track by J.D. (frontman of Korn, not Korn itself) in the game, it's the theme song, and it only plays in the intro video and possibly the menu. It won't be a problem unless you plan on shelling out $60 bucks and sitting in the main menu all day.
