[Poll] Vote for the Retro Soul album of 2010

  • [Poll] Vote for the Retro Soul album of 2010

Voice your opinion. What is the Retro Soul album of the year according to you? You can choose up to 5 albums per person, no more. You have until the end of the year to vote. On January the 1st of 2011, I will post the winner and the complete ranking. No live album or "best of" album allowed. No 2009 album (even from very late 2009) either.

    1. John Legend & The Roots - Wake Up!

Probably one of the best records I've ever heard. I've been rotating my copy of this magnificent album ever since it came out and I'm still loving every second of it! Great tribute to the classics!

    2. Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings - I Learned The Hard Way

    3. Ben l'Oncle Soul - Ben l'Oncle Soul

    4. Aloe Blacc - Good Things

unfortunately I haven't had the time to listen to the other albums so I'll go as far as 4 and probably will update my post at some later stage of the voting process.

    Cheers

  • Thanks for your vote ;) You can vote for the album of your choice, not only from the list. And you don't need to rank your albums. Of course you can but I mean each album will count only for 1 point, no matter the rank

    Ben l'Oncle Soul - Ben l'Oncle Soul
Eli "Paperboy" Reed - Come And Get It
