  Damn. I completely forgot about this - Feel terrible. I don't have the resources to host 24/7, but would be glad to keep an eye on the channel. The Steam group chat has worked once to get a few people together, but the guy who started the group went and got banned, so we can't put out an alert via steam. If you (or anyone else) have a computer that you'd be okay with running 24/7 on IRC, again...I'll idle and keep an eye on things, but I'll be in school and all, so keep in mind that I'm not home most of the day, and when I am I'm likely doing something, but I'd do my best.

  I've not had a computer on 24/7...But I'm going to be getting a freeish craptop shortly - I can probably host a user on there. Just call it something random and stick the computer in a corner folding and idling =D

  Popped into #OC on Quakenet. No one there, and noticed the channel isn't registered. Let me know what the dilly is. I can host proper channel bots, and anything else that might be useful. Shame I can't host a server though -- against my hosting policy.

  I'm probably going to host on a public server, most likely quakenet. I just want something like OCN's late chat room. A tech-based tone, but also quite OT.

  Well, only a few will probably be necessary at first, if there aren't many members. Were you planning on hosting your own server, or just a channel on an already established sever? What were you thinking of, as both a name but also a tone for this?

  So I was thinking, I know I can't advertise and IRC channel on OCN, even if it's unconnected to the site. But if I got a guarantee that you guys would use it I would try to set up an almost 24/7 server. I wonder if it'd run on a Pentium Pro... I'm just almost going crazy not being able to pop into chat for a quick bit of...Well...Anything. Again, this isn't affiliated with OCN. I just really like the membership there, and believe they feel the same as me. Also, Heru: Since we can't ask on OCN, what happened that got you, well, given the boot? You don't need to answer.
