Which is your favourite Peel session?

  • The Delgadoes did an amazing session. All covers:
    California Uber Alles
    Mr Blue Sky
    Matthew and Son

    I'm sure there was another, but age and alcohol has blocked this from my memory. I'd love to hear that session again.

  • Cocteau Twins and Sisters of Mercy (1st session) were amazing, but the closest to my heart will always be the Buzzcocks sessions; this is one of the first cassettes I ever bought, and I had never heard the Buzzcocks before. Their snotty melodic jangle caught me by surprise and I've had them worming through my brain ever since.

    There are so many good sessions.
    Just all sessions from The Fall, The Smiths, Orbital, Herman Dune i liked a lot, amongst many others.

    I was born at the right time!
    I've heard the originals... the covers... and the covers of the covers.
