'Once Upon A Time In America' by Ennio Morricone - pure magic. I think it's the best soundtrack ever. Ennio is a genius.

Almost anything by Hans Zimmer, especially:
    The Dark Knight
Pirates of the Caribbean (especially At World's End)
    The Lion King

And, of Course The Lord of the Rings soundtrack by Howard Shore. I also enjoy various soundtracks by Danny Elfman, and E.S. Posthumus' music.

  • I've always actually enjoyed the Pulp Fiction soundtrack as well as the Rock N Rolla one. There's some songs on the Rock N Rolla though that make me wanna pick a fight, which is probably the point, considering it's a Guy Ritchie film

  • both movies and soundtracks are awesome!

  • My favourite soundtracks are from Gothic saga and Risen games - all of these are amde by Kai Rosenkranz. I love soundtrack from The Witcher game, Neverwinter Nights game and from Pirates of the Carribean movie.

The Witcher soundtrack is made by Paweł Błaszczak and Adam Skorupa, and the NwN by Jeremy Soule. Pirates... soundtrack is made by Klaus Badelt (first movie) and Hans Zimmer (next chapters)

"...Błogosławieni, którzy potrafią śmiać się z samych siebie,
albowiem oni będą mieli ubaw do końca życia..."
  • At the moment I'm loving the soundtrack to 'Whip It', and also the three One Tree Hill soundtracks. Especially the third.
Other favourites are Chocolat, Vicky Cristina Barcelona, The Painted Veil and Road To Perdition

  • Anyone listening to soundtracks from Miyazaki Movies?

Some of the best sound tracks I have ever listened to are from Hayao Miyazaki Movies..

    "Spirited Away"
    "Princess Mononoke"
"Nausicaä: of the Vally of the Wind"
    "Howl's Moving Castle"

I had to buy all of these soundtracks from amazon, because I could never find them in the stores, but they are some of the most wonderful unforgettable magnificent music I have ever heard and undoubtedly my most favorite music for this genre.

If you haven't heard it, you should! :P

    Michael Giacchino

I really love the soundtrack to Lost, by Michael Giacchino.

First of all because it has such a strange instrumentarium of harp, strange metallic percussion, trombones, marimba, strings (amoung others).

It has great themes which are written for characters, or for situations. Which makes the music a living character in the series. I also love the fact that it's all done with a real orchestra. Which is becoming rare in tv series, unfortunately..

I also love early Disney stuff, before songs were written by popstars like Phil Collins and Elton John (who both are great songwriters and performers in their own right).
I'm talking about music like Snow White, Jungle Book.

If you don't like the scrobble, you're not my friend!
  • Glee!!!!

It's just another promise like we've heard before, we're never really knowing what we're fighting for.
