New Wave, Goth Rock, and Post Punk music that makes you want to dance and cry at the same time.
A genre of music which is sorta upbeat so it makes you want to do this weird little jump up and down dance, and also simultaneously endlessly depressing so that you really just want to curl up in the fetal position and cry. Popular Dance/Cry artists include but are not limited to Bauhaus, The Smiths, Joy Division, and The Cure. The listener is usually left listlessly twitching and pining for eyeliner.
