anyone know much about Joes personal politics?
I know he was a strong supporter of unions(hence the gigs he did for the FBU) and also a supporter of the Irish Republican struggle, but I always thought of him as more left-socialist(anarchist vein) than say communist.

I think they are more just like a antifa punk band.

This aint punk but redskin music (which is often either ska or oi) is probably the best I can offer. Check out the group www.redskins.ru and their artist connections!

    Chumbawamba

From the desk of Dean Sayers.
  • Refused

  • Banda Basotti
This band's from Italy, so you may have troubles with the lyrics... But they are really amazing.

There's also some leftwing punk rock bands from here, in Argentina. Like Shaila, Eterna Inocencia, Mal Pasar...

    Pinkerton Thugs!

They are nice street punk band that I think is very underrated. As a side note Paul Russo went on to be the singer in The Unseen (credited as Paul Unseen for his time there)
