  While I don't listen to those I wouldn't call them commercially driven artists. But that's also part of having a group like this, as a lot of people listen to underground music unfortunately the songs that people have in common are the more popular ones. They might only listen to 1 song during the week but that's enough to +1 it.

  Occasionally you'll hear a song that's got something going for it, but then it'll get played about 30 times a day and you'll be tearing your hair out every time you hear it. Most of it's the same though... they just copy each other to get sales up. It's not very creative. One group/artist will do something and it'll be popular, then the next month there will be about 20 songs sounding the same.

  Sounds tough TobesH, I hope you can stick in there! Communal radio hardly ever turns out well. I wonder what they'd say if you had those noise reduction headphones?

  The worst day at work was when they banned us from wearing earphones (radio, ipods) to exchange for safety earplugs. Now I have to struggle to persuade workmates to change the station on the communal stereo from the repetitive crud they listen to on commercial stations to JJJ radio. Not much luck I can tell you. Good group

  I still remember doing work placement when I was studying and having to work at a place which always listened to Nova. For those who don't know, Nova has a small playlist and no joke, you could hear the same song up to 4 times during work hours. Work placement lasted 3 weeks, it was hell.
