Best alternative albums I've heard so far this year are Errors, Ikons, Holy Fuck and The Depreciation Guild. I'm really looking forward to the new Steve Mason one - although that might be a wee bitty pop since it's produced by Richard X!

Its good to hear him sing in English too - kind of makes it a bit more accessible. Loving the Jonsi and Alex album too - very chilled and a bit trippy.

I'm quite enjoying the Jónsi album too, it's not too different from your normal Sigur Rós album but everything is more condensed which makes a nice change from the epics.
