Easy pick, Slide Away. Though my fav version is a bootleg acoustic from a Cardiff gig back in '96. Gimme a time machine and I'll go there - fucking lovely

  • "Truly to sing, that is a different breath."

  • Suede's The Asphalt World is quite amazing if you can look over the shitty keyboard effects.

    I also like:
Sleeper - Dress Like Your Mother
    Echobelly - Car Fiction
Blur - London Loves... and pretty much all of Elastica's first album (that weren't singles).

  • ooh...slide away. what a heck of a song. to be a bit less boring though i shall try and find one outside oasis...cos i couldnt pick from them.

i do quite like bar italia by pulp though. couldnt say whats the best album track ever though cos the best album tracks you forget how good they are, and then are blown away by their brilliance when they come on.

  • I love Where Did it All Go Wrong-Oasis! But every song by Oasis is my favourite!!!

  • and i love Supersonic too!

  • Pulp's albums are too hard to pick the best one from so how can I pick the best track? Lol but Cuckoo Song is among my most fav songs and it just appeared once in the Flux live concert by Pulp.

  • Pussycat by Elastica is pretty epic.

  • Talk Tonight. This my favourite song... awesome.

Always wear four condoms. One on your head. - Liam
  • Either This is a Low or Coffee & TV, both by Blur

Under The Moonlight /The Boy With No Name by Travis/

There's no more ground under my feet...
  • I Spy by Pulp
and of course Oasis' Slide Away....

And if you don't know this, then what do you know?
  • Holler, Wild Rose! by Holler, Wild Rose!

  • SUEDE - COMING UP !!!

The Chemistry Between Us !!! .....la la la la :D

Do not listen to a word I say just listen to what I can keep a silent
  • Blur did a few good ones: Oily Water, This Is A Low, Birthday....
Oasis: Rock n Roll Star, Hey Now - good crossover between rock/Britpop/indie, has the vibe of that era
Charlatans: Don't Wanna See The Sights - classic early 90s indie song

He'll be back: He needs the job like an alcoholic needs booze....
  • Blur - This is a Low

  • The Stone Roses - I Am The Resurrection
    Blur - The Universal
    Pulp - F.E.E.L.I.N.G.C.A.L.L.E.D.L.O.V.E.

  • Pulp's Common People (Different Class) sorry for the cliché ahah, but i really think this song is amazing. I also love Razzmatazz.
I would also add Suede's New Generation (Dog Man Star) and Sadie (Sci-Fi Lullabies).
Blur's Girls And Boys is also in my top 5 I think.

  • Oasis-slide away (no idea why it wasn't released as a single)

    The Verve-History
