If you like the folky stuff of Tindersticks, Nick Cave, Tom Waits, Wovenhand you will love this band...give it a try and please write us a comment what you think!! We would really appreciate it. Anyone have a bootleg of The Wicker Band? If so, please contact me or post link in the group Veldig Eldritch. (Via Wikipedia: A live performance of the [Wicker Man] soundtrack at the 30th annual Brosella Folk Festival in Brussels, on 8 July 2006, underlined the cult status of the film and its music. The organizers were looking for something to mark three decades of the festival and as such, for the final act of the evening, they assembled "The Wicker Band". This ensemble included many eminent performers from the thriving Flemish folk-rock scene, as well as the singer Jacqui McShee, founding member and continual reviver of the 1960s folk-jazz band Pentangle, and fellow ex-Pentangle member Danny Thompson. The band performed music from the film, plus a few selected songs from the folk and singer-songwriter repertoire that seemed to fit the mood before, shortly after midnight, the director's cut of the film was shown on a giant screen.)

I bought it last month, it was well worth the wait. The covers a bit drab but the material in side were it counts is brilliant. Jerry Donahue sounds amazing the guy is a star. My fav, bands are Comus, Jethro Tull, Amazing Blondel Magna Carta, The Morrigan, Wolfstone, Horslips, Iona & Trees.

John Martyn appeared on German television In March ‘78 to promote the album One World. The live concert included songs from the album alongside classics such as May You Never, Glistening Glyndebourne and Solid Air. This DVD is the only official filmed document of the Full House line up of Fairport Convention (they were never filmed commercially until reunions at the band’s regular Cropredy Festival years later).
