We all believe that Andy has a great influence on DEPECHE MODE songs and that he is the most important member of the band. Join if you love him!

Andrew Fletcher is a member of the greatest band in the world:

Depeche Mode
existing since 1980.

During his career he founded a record label Toast Hawaii. Its name comes from the sandwiches he used to eat all the time when Depeche were recording their early albums in Hansa Studio. The first signed artist to Toast Hawaii was Client, playing electroclash.

Andy also DJs sometimes. His style has been in the standard "Bedroom DJ" format; picking songs and creating a set list. However, some recent internet videos show Fletcher's skills improving, as he experiments beat mixing and sampling, instead of only going from track to track. One such event that he DJed was documented in "Andy Fletcher: One Night in Warsaw." As of October 2007, Fletcher is touring clubs in Europe and South America.

His favourite Depeche Mode song is "World in My Eyes". He supports Chelsea FC, though he is not from London. Fletch is often seen smoking on stage and his favourite cigarette brand is Marlboro Light. Has to this day remained close friends with former Depeche Mode member Vince Clarke.

Fletch is a very important member, he plays the bass, and is the bands spokesman (band manager) he is underspoken yet talented!! I would love to see him doing some DJ work!!

I'm glad i found this group :). Andy's a great guy who doesn't get the credit he deserves from a lot of fans. I'm so excited for SOTU!!!! I'm ordering my box set soon...oh so many great DM goodies :) and hopefully some fletch cam ^.^
