  Cruciarius, don't get so wrapped up in genre lables man. You are making yourself sound like a douchy goth snob. And I'm sure you arent. And as far as evanesence goes, be objective. If they weren't on the radio, would you still trash talk them? Sure, they arent goth, but they aren't far from it.

  @mysteremetal & @Cruciarius.. I added Evanescence because a boatload of listeners tagged 'em as Gothic Rock... they're from Arkansas and maybe what they play passes there for goth. I don't know, what do other folks in the group think? BTW: In my book, Type O Neg is goth.. and not just because I love the band, dammit! =)

  fuck Evanescence, this is pop shit with a bad singer. And TBM, Emilie Autumn, Anabantha and Type O has absolutely nothing to do with goth too (Even if we love them)

  Gothic bands that hail from the Americas.. I can't recall many Goth bands from central or south America, but I know they're out there, somewhere :)
