This is the official group of the new Female Fronted Progressive Metal band Alerion, from The Netherlands.

Alerion is a new Progressive Metal band with female vocals from The Netherlands. They combine Female Fronted (or Gothic) vocals, with a varied, guitar-oriented, melodic sound, ranging from fast and heavy to slow and mellow. Because of this unusual combination of vocals and music, Alerion's music is slightly different from that of most bands out there, and might just be a bit refreshing.

You can listen to the new promo Turn of Fate (2009) in full on Last.fm, or download it. The old demo Fledgling (2007) is still available online as well.

Alerion has a message board, as well as profiles on myspace, hyves, youtube, facebook etc. Links can be found on http://www.alerion.nl
