Many releases on MusicBrainz, one MBID on last.fm

Hello!

In MusicBrainz, it is taken into account that each album may have many releases. In last.fm, one album has one page and that's it. Still, albums here point to selected releases in MusicBrainz using MBID's.

How do you choose which MusicBrainz release will be represented on last.fm?

I guess it happens automatically by what matches the album name best

Could it be possible to have a more precise answer? I'm in the process of doing the job for albums that still haven't been matched. I need that information.
