Seems like all the tone deaf sheep were packing the main stage listening to the tuneless wailings and harp plinking of Joanna Newsom whilst the real highlight of the whole wkend was playing the pub stage - Simone Felice. John Grant got there eventually, but where was the full band? Lone Wolf - brilliant as were Megafaun, Wld Beasts and Besnard Lakes. Flaming Lips - where was the music? Big balloons and lasers all you got?

'Everything Is Free' by Tallest Man was brilliant (cheers shoesuntied for finding that track!). Also loved John Grant, Beirut, Wild Beasts, Darwin Deez (a pleasant, early-Sunday surprise) & Field Music. I was disappointed with The Flaming Lips though. They were ok, but half the set-list must have been turned into confetti: where were Race for the Prize, Ego Tripping, The Spark That Bled, Yeah Yeah Yeah...etc?? Wonderful festival though!

I *thought* he said it was a Gillian Welch song.. but I could be mistaken. What I want to know is who was the woman he had on stage with him..? I think she came on for the Megafaun singalong too, but I don't remember seeing her in anything else..

Apart from the horrific weather it was great, the music was brilliant, there was loads to see, good food and lovely people And I got to meet Zach Condon and the tallest man on earth! Was anyone watching The Tallest Man on Earth? I need to know the name of the last song of his set! Anyone know?

So much fantastic music, it's impossible to pick any particular highlights (although it has to be said that Flaming Lips were beyond amazing). However there's more to a festival than just the music and once again Green Man's lovely, friendly punters (and staff) and beautiful location made it an unmissable weekend. Who gives a shit about the rain, anyway? You don't exactly go to Wales for the weather!!

I don't care what the weather man says, when the weatherman says it's raining, you'll never hear me complaining - I'm certain the sun will shine... if not above, but in our hearts!

Just to add to the begging comments below - anyone got a pair of adult tickets they no longer need? Ideally for face value but I'm open to negotiations. I'd be forever grateful - I'm desperate!!!
