Casuarina + guests [NYC Premier]

Casuarina, is one of the most respected samba bands of Brazil. Originally from the Rio de Janeiro neighborhood of Lapa, the band plays their repertoire all over the nation and beyond. They’ve brought their ‘samba made in Brazil’ to various countries including Angola, Belgium, Cuba, France, Holland, Israel, Italy, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, and the United Kingdom.

Toured the US in 2013 and 2014 and were selected by globalFest for their first "globalFest On the Road" project, for which they have a 2-month tour booked for 2016 already.

In 2014 they played Lincoln Center and Joe's Pub, both packed! Joe's show was sold out more than a week in advance.
