Shakatak have enjoyed a level of success and career longevity rarely achieved in contemporary music. The band enjoys both cult status and popular recognition due to their many hits, including the singles Easier Said Than Done, Night Birds and Down on the Street. Throughout their 31- year career Shakatak have released more than 50 CDs. The six-piece line-up features the four original members, Bill Sharpe, Jill Saward, Roger Odell and George Anderson.
