The London Sinfonietta gives the world premiere of Radio Rewrite, a new work from master of minimalism Steve Reich.

The ideas for Radio Rewrite were sparked by a meeting with Radiohead’s Jonny Greenwood and two Radiohead songs, Everything in its Right Place and Jigsaw Falling into Place, which supply some of the harmonic/melodic material.

Reich is also performing Clapping Music.

Radio Rewrite is a co-commission by the London Sinfonietta and New York’s Alarm Will Sound.
