Duo performance as part of the Dennis Cooper & Gisèle Vienne curated TEENAGE HALLUCINATION sequence, part of Le Nouveau Festival 2012.
“Attila Csihar and Stephen O’Malley have worked together for several years on the group SUNN O))), over the course of severa lineups,l live and studio albums and most importantly on stage for many concerts across 4 continents. They also have played together in the O))) fringe group GRAVETEMPLE (with Oren Ambarchi) and collaborated together with the sculptor Banks Violette (Maureen Paley, London 2006 & Team Gallery / Gladstone Gallery, NYC 2007). Their collaborative nature focuses toward a state of existential meditation allowing an evolution of conscious perception through the incredible and massive power of sound. Their duo here at Pompidou will present several “shorter” pieces written and improvised specifically for the event.”
