The Antlers

Did you see it? The TGE show? The Antlers popped by Brighton in May to play a teeny tiny 30 minute set at TGE this year. Oh my me, how it wasnt long enough. But we did get a taster of their new album "Burst Apart".

Already a contender for DiS album of the year, Burst Apart is many things. A lift off, a burial, an expansion and precision all in one.

Peter's vocals seemed have been refined and strengthened through months of continuous touring to create sonicly transcending arias that would wrench the tenderness out of any tortured soul.

The Antlers' live sound has been filled out with the addition of a new member which only aids to fill out the lush and visceral textures interweaved through both albums.
