• Bright Eyes & Titus Andronicus

    I know this is two months after the fact, but I am going to do a review anyways. So on April 4th, 2011 at First Avenue Titus Andronicus and Bright Eyes performed. Titus Andronicus was the opener, and what awesome stage presence and energy! That's one of my favorite things about shows, the energy, stage presence and that you can just tell that the band is having fun. Especially Amy Klein, who was jamming on the violin and guitar, she constantly had a smile on her face during the entire TA set. And then of course Bright Eyes was excellent. I love Conor Oberst so much, he's such a talented songwriter. I was a little disappointed in the performance of "Four Winds", I was kind of hoping it was sound a little bit more like the record with the fiddle v.s. an organ-y keyboard. But I understand why, It's just my favorite part of the song, the fiddle. Conor did an excellent "Going For The Gold" performance, which is down below. …
